Why are our spray tanning courses  / equipment more expensive than some spray tan training?

Yes you can get a kit with spray tan training for around £149, but is cheapest always best? 

We only sell the best world class quality Iwata Airbrush system, which has huge impact on the results achieved,

and is very reliable  machinery, our is now 11 years old NOT ONE PROBLEM!

What is the difference?

The cheaper spray tanning courses with kit have HVLP machinery with their tanning  kits, which are ALOT cheaper to buy!

The Airbrush Tan system that we use, uses a gun that is shaped like a pen and driven by a compressor. The compressor can also be used for airbrush nails/ body art and airbrush make up. This cannot be said for HVLP machines. A pressure of 20psi is generally plenty and a higher pressure can be too much for your clients skin.  Most compressors have a regulator on.
Generally an airbrush application takes about 15 to 20 minutes and it gives considerable control to the technician.

Yes HVLP are quicker, but are found to be extremely noisy and we have found on our courses where students bring their own HVLP machinery that runs can occur due to speed of solution and amount of solution from gun, as an HVLP is a blower , NOT A COMPRESSOR,  similar to a reverse vacuum cleaner.
 Also clients don’t necessarily want speed they want an accurate streak free tan!
The reason HVLP systems are cheaper, is that it is an air blower not a compressor!  Just be sure you buy the machinery that will deliver you the results you need for your business with no hassle!

You can get insurance and run your own business from our spray tan training courses

We use Iwata equipment which is the top quality, as the last thing you would want is for your equipment to break down!   Obviously there is always cheaper equipment around, but sometimes the motors may not be as long lasting and the airguns may not spray so evenly.

do i need any previous qualifications? 

no

 do i need a kit?

• no, equipment is provided.  Our products are used on the day.

Your spray tanning course training is free, and includes an Iwata compressor and spray tanning gun, airline,

airbrush cleaning solution, sample spray tan solution.

This is for you to keep and take with you, so you can get started immediately.

You may use any solution you wish after the course.

do i need a model? 

no. students work on each other and should have exfoliated up to the day of the

 spray tanning course and not moisturised on the day.

Do not worry about spraying full bodies!. We spray each other and you can wear shorts and a vest top. Or bikini if you feel comfortable with this. 

 You do not really get a full body tan done, it is about learning how to do the treatment.

What if I can't 'do it'

This is a good question.  The likely hood is because you want to be there, you've chosen the subject, AND PAID FOR YOURSELF!, and we have extensive experience,  we have found that in nearly every case people have done very well and surprised themselves how well they have actually done.

Obviously some elements you will pick up easier than others.  We offer free phone or e mail help after your training. 

With extra practice you would end up being very good if you persist, but that is up to each individual to put the effort in
