We normally practice on each other.
It is fairer to all students if you will all be waxed. If everyone said they did not want to be practiced on, who are YOU going to learn on?
You will need to have hair on –Â legs, bikini, underarms and eyebrows.
You may be able to bring a model under certain medical circumstances. Please call to enquire.

When you have successfully completed your course with Top Talons you will receive a accredited certificate issued by Top Talons, which is a fully accredited certificate by Beauty Guild / ABT, which allows you to obtain Public Liability Insurance so you can start offering your new treatments to paying clients, or to add on to your existing policies.
All our nail course and beauty course manuals are  very comprehensive and inspected for accreditation so that they pass the criteria that you need to be able to refer to after you nail and beauty courses. And remember we are always here to help after your course.
When you have completed your practical training day with Top Talons, there are case studies for some courses.
We provide you with backup and support after your nail course or beauty course.

Our short intensive courses have been running for over 25+ years.

We do not rush anyone, we will not move onto the next stage till your are comfortable too.
You will learn the theory, health and safety & contra indications of the treatment you have chosen to learn with Top Talons.
After this our highly experienced tutors will demonstrate each stage (at different stages) for you to then do on your model on the course. Our tutors will be there on hand to help you every step.
We will continue this the rest of the day practising your new skills, with a short break for lunch.

Our waxing courses teach the most popular pot wax method. On our waxing courses, our trainer has much experience in waxing treatments. With our waxing courses, you will learn to wax all areas of the face and body. Our waxing courses are accredited by Beauty Guild. I have attended the basic waxing course with top talons and it was better than I expected. The tutor was very friendly and put me at great ease as we had to practice waxing on each other and I had never had anything waxed before so was a little nervous.
