Theory is taught in your own time via our online platform giving you more time to learn the techniques. We also offer ongoing support after you have completed the course.

Ear candling can carry risks.
The therapist must be professionally trained, as having a lit candle inserted into the ear requires expert handling and supervision to avoid potential problems such as a punctured eardrum or burns to the face, hair, scalp or ear.
Advise will be given on the course when not to perform the ear candling treatment.
About Hopi Ear Candling
Hopi Ear Candling is also known as Thermo Auricular Therapy and is a therapy that aims to help symptoms associated with the ear, nose and throat.
The treatment involves placing a hollow, cone-shaped tube (or ‘candle’) made of cotton, is hollow and made of cotton or muslin cloth which has been soaked in either beeswax or paraffin They are sometimes scented with honey and herbs.
This is believed to help with the removal of excess wax and impurities from the ear.
Ear candling can assist with promoting deep relaxation and claims to help to relieve stress.
The candle is gently placed into the ear and lit, supposedly creating a vacuum in the ear by warming the air inside which then rises and escapes (like a ‘chimney’) drawing out the ear wax in the process
The removal of excess wax and impurities claims to help to clear the inner ear and sinuses, and help regulate any ear pressure .

When you have successfully completed your course with Top Talons you will receive a accredited certificate issued by Top Talons, which is a fully accredited certificate by Beauty Guild / ABT, which allows you to obtain Public Liability Insurance so you can start offering your new treatments to paying clients, or to add on to your existing policies.
