Builder Gel Overlay Nail Course

The new popular trend of natural looking nails. Builder gel has taken the industry by storm.
Builder Gel is a medium to thick viscosity gel, that can be used to create and build shape on nails.
They can be applied over nail extensions or over the natural nail which is called a gel overlay.
Allowing you as a nail technicians to add strength to your clients natural nails, allowing their nails to grow strong and keeping them looking perfect for 2/3 weeks.
On our course we use clear builder gel. You can then apply colour gel polish on top. If you are not gel polish qualified add the course on the same day.
Theory is taught in your own time via our online platform giving you more time to learn the techniques.

When you have successfully completed your course with Top Talons you will receive a accredited certificate issued by Top Talons, which is a fully accredited certificate by Beauty Guild / ABT, which allows you to obtain Public Liability Insurance so you can start offering your new treatments to paying clients, or to add on to your existing policies.
All our nail course and beauty course manuals are  very comprehensive and inspected for accreditation so that they pass the criteria that you need to be able to refer to after you nail and beauty courses. And remember we are always here to help after your course.

Builder Gel Overlay Course
The latest nail treatment on the market.  Lasts approx. 2-3 weeks with proper care and maintenance.
You can apply builder gel to either natural nails for a non-chip overlay, or use it with nail tips to create extensions or enhancements. It’s much stronger than regular gel polish, and the formula is a much thicker consistency to a normal base coat. They have high self-levelling properties which ensure a smooth foundation layer. When the builder gel begins to grow out, you can infill just like you would with acrylic nails, or remove the set and reapply another set.
What is the difference between gel polish and builder gel?
The simple answer is that builder gels are much thicker than regular gels. A builder gel will have a higher viscosity than regular gel. Some builder gels have added calcium. It applies like a soak-off gel polish but works like a hard gel. It is formulated with a self-levelling lightweight formula. The brush-on formula allows you to apply it easier and faster. Helps reinforce the natural nail. great for encouraging natural nail growth following removal of extension products.
Are your builder gel overlay courses accredited?
Yes we are accredited by ABT for insurance purposes. Many courses may not be accredited and so the treatment may not be covered by insurance.
