Theory is taught in your own time via our online platform giving you more time to learn the techniques. We also offer ongoing support after you have completed the course. If you are a complete beginner we advise that you add on our extra acrylic and gel nail extension sessions / assessments.

TopTalons were recommended to me by a friend who used them 8 years ago.
I was a little unsure due to distance but I looked through their website to see which courses they provided and what would be better suited to me. The website had a great layout, easy to browse with lots of information provided. After weighing up my options. Even though it would be a 144 mile round trip for me to train there, I was certainly happy travelling to train there, especially after reading other reviews too.
I would certainly recommend Top Talons to anyone looking to do a course. They were very helpful when I booked my course and on the day. They are very friendly, made everyone feel very welcome and it was a great atmosphere to learn in. They provided all information you need and even gave us ideas and tips on profits and promoting business.

I thought from the introduction of the Acrylic Nail course over the phone through to the presentation and practical aspects on the day were excellent and everything was as explained. I was very enthusiastic about learning this technique, and the fact that all the equipment and support offered to learn with couldn’t have been any better I couldn’t have asked for more. I was able to ask lots of questions and try out different techniques, and learn all at once it was fantastic. I was so proud of myself at the end of the day because when I had applied the acrylic to the dummy nails initially it was really thick and a bit uneven, then when I was urged to try on the real nails of my partner something amazing happened and I just seemed to apply it correctly with confidence without struggling like I thought I would.. I was a bag of nerves at first and all of it was made so clear through guidance and demonstration. It just made me want to keep going. I have had a really bad two years and I ended up having the best day I’ve had in ages which was heightened by Linda and her team who made me feel so comfortable. I felt like I had done something really special for myself. In fact all the ladies that helped me on the day were so lovely and I want to thanks all of them now because it’s only through their support and instruction I got the confidence to do my best. I am definitely coming back.

I would highly recommend top talons
I took my first course back in 2015. The staff and trainee was so welcoming, loving and caring. Always made sure that you left exactly knowing what you needed to do.
4 years on I am now qualified in individual, russian and hybrid lashes, plus the lash lift, spray tanning, brow tint and wax and hair weave extensions. I have recently just signed up for the 3 method hair extensions which I’m looking forward to. I have always done my courses with top talons and I also send alot of people to them. I would be lost without the help of Linda and Howard.

I attended a manicure course on 12th November 2013. I had previously struggled to find a short course just focusing on natural nails. This course was just perfect. It was a great introduction to manicure and nail polish application in a small group of like minded students. The training environment was professional and friendly with good facilities.
The trainers were very approachable and very clear with their instruction focusing very much on the practical aspects of the manicure although they did go through the technical information and advised on further reading. I am looking forward to adding manicures as an additional service to my existing business. I am already considering their airbrush make up course but will have to save for that one!
