YOU MUST BE lash extension trained to do this Russian Volume XD Eyelash Extension Course.
The Russian Volume Lash procedure is very delicate and much more intricate than classic extensions; absolute precision is a necessity. The term 2D, 3D, 6D etc. in the volume technique is used to describe how many lashes are in the fan or bouquet of lashes. 3D means 3 lashes are placed onto one natural lash; 6D means 6 lashes, and so on
What makes Russian volume lashes different from classic?
With classic 1:1 eyelash extensions are applied.
Volume techniques allow us to apply multiple extensions to ONE isolated natural lash.
The Russian Volume technique covered on our Russian Volume XD Eyelash Extension Course achieves this with thinner lashes.
Resulting in a full lash line that appears fluffy and soft and maintains the health and safety of our client’s natural lashes.
A significantly smaller amount of adhesive is also used.
With volume lashes you are able to use less adhesive than with Classic and achieve a better hold.
This is because with Multi-Pick Up fan of the thinner lashes hug the natural lash making more contact.
Volume has many different names and can be created in different ways.
2D- 2 lashes per one natural lash
3D- 3 lashes per one natural lash
4D- 4 lashes per one natural lash
5D- 5 lashes per one natural lash
6D- 6 lashes per one natural lash
Volume lashes are finer than mink lashes, and are applied as a fan to the isolated natural lash to give a light, soft and feathery look to the lashes. The weight is very light and does not cause damage to the natural lashes when applied properly.
Russian Volume Lashes are not “cluster” lashes, “y” or “w” lashes, as you will learn on our Russian Volume lash Extension Course .
