Brows are huge business and are not stopping soon.
We offer several types of brow courses including
our 7 step brow definition course
So what are the steps to the perfect brows?
Firstly the brows are mapped out. What does this mean?
This means that the clients brows are drawn onto the skin with pencil or brow mapping string and measured for precision.
This will give the client a good idea how their brows will look before you apply the colour.
Next we tint the brows. This is what will create the depth and colour to the brows.
The brows need shaping and on our brow courses this is done by using waxing techniques to create a sharp precise shape.
Brow threading is performed above the brows to remove the downy hairs to give a seamless appearance.
Tweezing and brow trimming is also performed to add to the finished result.
Finally is the application of brow make up to enhance the brow colour and concealer to cut in the brow shape.
We also offer henna brow courses. This is the application of henna brow paste which will colour the hairs and stain the skin and can last 4-6 weeks on the hair. Henna also gives the appearance of the brow hairs being thicker, as the colour sits on top of the brow hair.
Henna can also encourage brow hair growth and brow oils can be used after the henna brow treatment.
Although brows are sisters not twins, clients want the precise look, so the shaping is very important.
Don’t over trim the brows as they can look harsh and won’t sit right and be careful not to over wax or over pluck.
Brow lamination can be a great treatment to tame unruly brows. On our brow lamination courses we show you the complete method of the treatment.
This is applying a special solution to realign the hairs into the desired style and help them appear more volumous.
Brow gel can also be used daily to help keep the style.
