About eyelash glues.

When an eyelash lash technician or client becomes allergic to lash glue, many people seem to say
“switch adhesives to so and so brand”.

Most likely it will be an allergy to Cyanoacrylate which is in ALL adhesives on the market and not the specific brand.

Cyanoacrylate is the main chemical that is causing the allergy. It’s in ALL eyelash adhesives and so will be difficult to avoid.

As an eyelash technician, you are using glue most of the day and most days,. The fumes come into contact with your nasal membranes and you can get red and watery eyes.

Avoiding the problem should be the best course of action.
You can use a no fume no odour sensitive glue as one option.
But whatever you use, keep the area well ventilated and a fan may help, keep glues away from your face and wear a face mask up to EN149 FFP3 level.

Why are your eyelash extension courses so cheap?

Others eyelash extension courses are too expensive!  Our eyelash extension courses are high quality training with low group numbers, we just do not make as much profit.  We are Beauty Guild accredited like all the other schools.  With some courses you pay for the brand.  They are still Beauty Guild accredited the same as us, but have large trade show stands at £50,000 or more to pay for!

Why are your eyelash extension course kits such good value?

Because we have our own lash adhesive and remover manufactured as all the big brands do but again just do not make as much profit!  We just like to give value for money and not charge YOU to pay for our marketing and advertising via large trade shows and fancy adverts. We also have our own faux mink lashes made too.

I have seen an eyelash extension course that covers – eyelash tinting, strip lashes, flare lashes, express lashes & semi-permanent eyelash extensions all in one day what about this?

We could easily offer this, BUT how much practice would you get?  With our eyelash extension course, we don’t even start working on each other until the afternoon, as you have been learning the techniques all morning, so will be much better at applying lashes when you have a go on each other.  PLUS we apply many more lashes on each other than many courses.  Our lash tinting course covers strip and flare lashes if required, and this course also takes all day to get the most from it.  Yes you would have to travel twice, BUT its worth it, as you would get much more attention and practice over 2 days than cramming all into one day.

It is VERY important to check kit contents when comparing courses with kits included. You might see other eyelash extension courses for £195, with a so called free kit, but the kit will be much smaller than ours, or you may have seen, free training with purchase of their kit  but check the price of the kit.  It will be much more expensive than ours.  It could be around £300 for a smallish kit with one adhesive in etc.  Our free training with kits is only £195 plus VAT with a large kit with much more items in plus 3 adhesives which are the most expensive item, and with us you get 3200 lashes, which is double what other Companies kits have!  They just make more profit!

With our eyelash extension courses for £195 plus VAT, you get a large kit and free training.  You get 3 lash adhesives and 20 gel eye pads in our large kit and metal lockable beauty case. With other Companies you will probably get a small vanity case.

Check what is in your eyelash extension course kit before you decide, and compare not just on price, BUT ON KIT CONTENTS and sizes!

So, our eyelash extension courses are MUCH better value than anyone else, due to the much bigger kit.  Even if they are offering free training or free kits!,  their kit may be over £300!  So check all prices and what you get.

Also check the price of their eyelash trays and adhesives per size of bottle, as you would need to purchase more later.  You will find ours are much better value.  We have our adhesives manufactured for us, medical grade ISO approval, same as them!!  But without paying for branding and large trade show stands.

What products do you use for adhesive and lashes on your lash extension course, should i choose a ‘brand’?

That is up to you if you like paying more!  YOU will pay for their marketing and trade show stands.  We have our own top quality medical grade lash extensions adhesive and gel removers made to EU regulations and ISO approval, especially for us, like all the other Companies do!  Also, we get our own lashes made too. J, B, C curl mixed length trays of 7,9,11,13mm and 2 thicknesses 0.20 and 0.25.

Will my clients ask for brands?

More than likely no. If you train with or use branded products, then you will pay more and so obviously make less profit for yourself, and as our adhesives are the same quality, then your lashes will last well if applied correctly with our adhesives and eyelash extensions training course.

How many clients will the individual eyelash extension courses kits do?

Many Companies are saying that their kits will do up to 50 clients or so.  That depends on how many lashes the client wants per eye. When you go to check what is in their individual eyelash extensions courses kits, they don’t tell you!  So its best to check, as it could appear misleading.  Your glue will last quite a while anyway as very little is used, most are 5 gram or 10 gram.  Eyelashes also go a long way, and there are usually up to 16-18000 on most trays, as ours do. It depends how many lashes per client you use.  Their kits will have one tray in our large kit has 2 trays in so 3200 lashes!  With our different levels of kit you still get the tray of lashes with 16 rows.  We have our own lashes manufactured.  You choose what size kit from our excellent value kit packs..

Do we do a full set each on our eyelash extension course?

Many eyelash extension courses are shorter than ours as you may only apply a few lashes each!  Check who you book with how many lashes you will be applying on each other. On our courses we aim to get each student to apply as many as they wish depending on timings.

Do you cover eye cleansing on your eyelash extensions courses?

Yes.

Do you cover lash and brow tinting and brow shaping eyebrows on your eyelash extension courses?

No because we like to spend much longer on the lash extensions, which is the course you would have booked.  Our lash and brow tinting is a separate course, as that can take nearly all day on its own and if you do this on the same day  everything could be rushed, as our lash extension course takes from 10 til nearly 5, as we do not rush anyone practicing and if we did tinting also, the lash extensions practical would be shorter.  As lash extensions are a very popular and profitable treatment, we like to train you thoroughly just in that subject, without adding other treatments to the day to also learn.

I have seen cheaper eyelash extension adhesive what about that?

Professional eyelash extension adhesives are not the same as strip lash and flare lash glues. You need a professional lash extensions adhesive otherwise your clients will complain that their lashes fall out easily.  All our lash adhesives are manufactured especially for us, and are guaranteed medical grade and EU approved and correctly UK labeled for safe use on eyes.  If you buy adhesive which is not any of these then you are taking a risk with your clients and their eyes!  It may come from Far East for example and then may not be approved for use in the UK. Check when you buy the adhesive!
