Me and my friend Katie attended the Acrylic Nail Course with yourselves on 7th March 2013. We would just like to say we are more than happy with the service that was provided and it really opened our eyes as to how much preparation and technique actually goes into the Nail Extensions. We was greeted with a warm welcoming at the door after a pleasent and easy drive to Chesterfield from Manchester. From the moment we walked in we felt at ease and in helpful hands and we walked away feeling proud and excited to get started with the opening of our own salon. After coming home i have done a quite a few sets of acrylic and gel nails its going well but as we all know practice makes perfect!! i will be booking a new course later in the year for nail art . Hi I did an acrylic course with you , Mel from simply gorgeous beauty in allestree derby, I learnt so much it’s really taken my nail business/beauty salon to another level ! I just wanted to thank Linda and Howard for another excellent course! I did the eyelash course on the 31st march ( my 3rd one with top talons ! ) and it was brilliant ! The lady who took the course Jayne , was fantastic ! I struggled in the beginning to get the hang of it and nothing was too much trouble ! Her manner knowledge and patience was wonderful and due to the fact top talons don’t run these large room filled courses its more one to one with a lot of practical which is another bonus when like myself I didn’t get the hang of it straight away !, And finally the kit !!!! I booked on the Gel & Acrylic course this month, I had tried many times to do my own gels but didn’t have much look at keeping them on. I met Linda and her husband on the day along with 9 other students, straight away the atmosphere was both welcoming & friendly. Linda gave great instruction, clear and simple to understand which really helped with the learning the process throughout the day. I now feel confident that with a little more practice I will be able to run a successful mobile nail business. Linda has assured me that should I get stuck she is happy to answer my questions which is a fantastic help. I really enjoyed the acrylic nail extension course, although I had knowledge of how to do them, the trainers gave me a lot of tips trick and short cuts which has made my work a lot better and quicker. I had personal advice on the look of my recent nails and they gave me the pointers I need to make myself better. I am getting a lot more good feedback and repeat customers now I am very happy and the course fee was definitely value for money. I will b returning soon for the gel and manicure course to qualify and will definitely recommend these quality trainers to everyone interested in starting doing nails. They only have small groups and constantly talking and checking and helping you. Also they do things step by step and at your own pace even if the rest are at a different pace. I was a little nervous about going on the course as I have no experience in manicures. I was made to feel very comfortable and the course was very interesting and thorough. I have attended 5 courses at Toptalons and have enjoyed every minute of it. I was nervous heading to the course, but on arrival that went away. The trainers are welcoming and so friendly. I never felt as if I couldn’t ask a question when stuck. They gave good one to one advice when something wasn’t going right, and sticks with you until it does. Just letting you know how much I have enjoyed the 2 nail courses I have attended this year (Manicure and Gel Polish & Acylic & Gel). Linda,Howard and all the other trainers are friendly and have a lot of patience,nothing is to much trouble. The courses are great value for money and you leave with all the equipment (if you have a kit)and knowledge to be able to move forward. If you need things explained or need to be shown again they will, as many times as you need.The atmosphere is relaxed which I feel helps with the learning process.Also knowing that if I need any more information or clarification on what they have taught me I can contact them is of great comfort. i found the hair up course very easy which i thought i wouldn’t as I’m not a trained hairdresser …. But i would def be interested in the more advanced one. The teacher was brilliant and really nice and supportive, so that made the day easier.
I would def recommend it to other that were think of doing something like this with all the kit etc . My only complaint would be i would have like a doll with a little longer and thicker hair but other wise very happy ! Thanks Vania

Completed manicure and gel polish course on Saturday! Cannot speak highly enough of this training school right through from booking the course to completion. On booking received all the information needed for the day and instructions which got me very excited and was looking forward to the day! When the day arrived, was greeted by Howard and Linda in a very warm welcoming way! The course exceeded expections, very hands on and did not feel rushed at all! I recently trained with Linda and Howard to do a acrylic course.I had a fantastic day and most of all learnt a lot of information about acrylic.Linda and Howard made us feel welcome, spent time and demonstrated how to apply.They are both lovely and kind people .Extremely passionate in what they do. also found the marketing info very interesting and has gave me the confidence to work on clients at home.Highly recommend and the price is also a bonus.extremley good value for money :).

The eye lashing tinting course was great, but I always do enjoy your courses.So welcoming and friendly I really enjoy them. I can’t believe how confident I felt to go straight out and practise the tinting, it was beneficial to me and my business. Will hopefully be doing more courses in the future but I wouldn’t go anywhere else because it’s really good value for money and the kits are great.

The acrylic and gel course combined was brilliant. Linda and her team was more than helpful, teaching us the ways of how to do it properly. I did my 1st full set of acrylic nails yesterday. I recently attended the acrylic and gel nail combination course and I couldn’t be more happier, I was tought everything I needed to know to do both treatment safely and properly. Thank you to Howard and Linda for making me feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable. It was a long day but I didn’t mind as there was so much learn and the day flew by. It was a very informative course, the trainers were very experienced and knew their stuff. The day was a good balance of theory and practical and they didn’t blind you with science. I went along a complete beginner, not knowing anything about how to apply nail extensions or use acrylic or gel but I came away raring to go and found the notes given on the day a great help. I would just like to personally thank Howard and Linda with regards to the acrylic day course I completed today (and passed). I didn’t really know what to expect as I’ve never done anything like this before. I felt at ease right away due to how welcoming both of you were.
There is a lot of information to take in due to only doing the course in 1 day but I felt completely comfortable to ask questions and finished the course with confidence knowing that if I was unsure of anything, I can always phone up and ask. There were about 7 of us in today’s class which was perfect as we then got enough 1 on 1 time if needed.
I would recommend this class to everybody. I’m not very good with names but I would also like to thank Howard’s daughter and the other lovely lady that helped as they were really nice and approachable. I will definitely be booking the a few more classes in the next coming months such as the gel day course and the eyelash extension course.
